Pastel is a beautiful old medium that is unfortunately being overlooked (due to the wide variety of markers).

In our school we urge students to explore this medium which almost all of the time produces amazing results. One of the advantages of pastel is the fact that it cam be applied on top of any coloured paper like for example the illustration on the right which was drawn on the dark blue paper stock.
